The Naha Harbor Diner in Okinawa, Japan lies at the very top of a huge Gajumaru tree about 20 feet above the ground. Sadly, that is not a real Gajumaru tree, its actually concrete. Customers actually have to get in an elevator inside the trunk to reach the restaurant. Don’t expect to see a lot of kids at this tree house though. Naha Harbor Diner is known for being romantic, and quiet. You can experience all sorts of Asian and Indian food from the chefs. A recent visitor who dined here, actually said it was very cheap.
A group of 5 people eat for around $70 USD. Located on highway 58 at the entrance in Onoyama Park in Okinawa, Japan.

I’ve always had an obsession with treehouses, so I find this totally cool even though it’s not a real tree.

I love this place. Lived in okinawa for 14 years but hardly ever ate there. It’s kind of in a bad location tho, right next to the road and parking is kind of a pain. But its right near kokusai street.

It looks awesome, it has a great view of the water if you get a good table, but food was pretty well horrible for the price tag on it and their attempt at mixed drinks couldn’t do anything to fix it. You definitely paid extra for being up in a tree. Only been there once but the entire party I was with had the same opinion. And incase you are saying I am some gaijin who doesn’t like non-american food, I was the only American in my party.
