Another industrial society wasting energy on absolutely useless frivolities while parts of their population starve and are deprived of decent living standards and reasonable medical care! Modeled after the very sick American society, and soon to be overtaken by a compassionate, logical and human centered system, folly like this in the world of misery caused by industrialization run amok will soon end! A new system will rise from the (GRD) great republican depression in the U.S.A., like a Phoenix from the ashes of Capitalist controlled democracies, and the world will be a better place for each of us! Look on the internet, witness similar monuments to mankind’s foolishness, rusting and unused, all over the former paternalistic U.S.S.R. Communism is also a dismal failure and for almost the same reasons! An enlightened movement of educated American women will put forth a system, after the gut wrenching paradigm shifts the GRD imposes on the current immature, boyish American culture and the monumental and childish egos of its men, that they will be forced accept. The world and its peoples will no longer be “Fathered”. They will be “Mothered”, Christ will be revealed to be a woman, God will be a “She”, men will take a servile secondary role. Female logic will reign. Armies will cease to exist for wars. Great armies will go and “mother” sick regions of the world to health, and funny looking lighted water displays on bridges will be converted to better medical care for all!

I think the bridge is cool and would be something to definitely check out if you’re ever in South Korea

Ha! I love the two previous comments….pretty polar. I agree with both, the humanitarian in me thinks this is a huge waste of money and energy that could be used for the greater good of the world.

But hey, it looks cool as hell!

Anyway, love the site, I just found myself getting lost looking at cool things from around the world. I was curious to know if you would be interested in linking to a site with which I work. Contact me at the above email and I’ll give more details. Keep up the good work.

What an amazing bridge, an element of innovation can always do wonders to add that much-needed human touch to any technical achievement.
